Exceeding Expectations
- All our teachers have been specially chosen for each subject because of their vast experience with the DAT and their excellent scores. All our teachers teach at BYU and have taken the DAT in the past year so they know how to teach to the format of this test. Each is skilled in breaking down the sections in a way that will help you increase speed and accuracy.
- Pretests and posttests are administered to familiarize students with the format and to assess improvement.

Testing Schedule
The following table indicates the time allocation for the DAT. You will have a total of 4 hours and 15 minutes (5 hours including the tutorial, break, and survey) to complete the four tests in the DAT. If an examinee chooses to take the optional break, the testing session will resume automatically after 15 minutes have elapsed.
